Applications in which sensor data and actuator commands are sent through a shared communication network have attracted increasing attention in control engineering, since network technologies provide a convenient way to remotely control large distributed plants. Predictive Networked Control Systems (NCS) schemes have been effectively used to compensate for network delays occurring on the measurement channel.
